Calgary, Alberta (April/2010) – Readers of WAHM-Articles.com are in for a genuine treat this April as Karri Flatla of AlphaWAHM.com makes guest blog appearances to introduce her new book, the Alpha WAHM Blueprint: An Empowerment Guide for Work-at-Home Moms. Flatla has been touring business and mom blogs across the web since February 16 and will continue until April 27, 2010. Alpha moms everywhere will finally unite as Flatla answers their most burning questions about running a business from home and designing the empowered, guilt-free lifestyle they’ve always wanted.

Calgary-based virtual professional, Denise Willms is one of many work-at-home moms who are stamping out old ideas and turning to a more empowered way of creating the work-at-home life today’s mompreneur dreams of. Willms, owner of WAHM-Articles.com, had shared this when asked why she wanted to be a part of The Alpha WAHM Blueprint Virtual Book Tour, “Many moms I meet have such big dreams about working from home, but they often get waylaid by common fears. Karri helps women identify the fears that keep them from achieving success and address them head on.”

According to the Alpha WAHM Blueprint, today’s mother not only wants it all, but can have it all too, no apologies required. Flatla explains it like this: “More and more women are choosing to work from home as a way to blend their professional passions, their desire for wealth AND their role as a mother. Yet the self-help industry advises women to compartmentalize—to strive for ‘work-life balance.’ Yet we know this isn’t working! The Alpha WAHM Blueprint is going to open a new dialog for strong, passionate women who want to design a life that makes them feel whole.”

A complete schedule of The Alpha WAHM Blueprint Virtual Book Tour blog stops can be found at http://AlphaWAHM.com/booktour2010.

If you’re looking for original, quality, and thought provoking articles for reprint to utilize in your publication; Her Articles.com is sure to please.

Erika, the owner and freelance writer behind the screen of Her Articles is happy to announce her new website that caters to women. The articles she provides span topics such as; homemaking, Christian living, parenting, home based business, recipes, and cooking. “The great thing about using my articles is that you’re getting original writing that’s only available in one place and each one is sold a limited amount of times. I feel this is important when publishing content. It just doesn’t make sense to me to publish articles that have saturated the internet; your readers will get bored with repeat content that they might have already read on another publication.” Says, Erika.
Her prices are very affordable and there’s a nice variety of articles in the database, just ready and waiting to make your publication shine.

She also has authored two e-books just for women in home based business; The Four Step Program and How to Start Your Own Recipe Book Business. Both of which will help the reader in her home based business pursuits.

Concerning her e-books, Erika says, “Helping other women in home based business through my writing is very rewarding to me. One of my main objectives is to help ladies avoid the many pitfalls of starting or running a home business. I’m bringing years of experience to the table for my clients one word at a time.”

If you’re in search of articles for reprint, resources to help you with home based business, or encouragement in everyday life, Erika’s website should be added to your favorites and visited often.

To celebrate the grand opening of her site, she is running a series of specials and contests over the next few weeks. Pay Her Articles.com a visit and tell a friend or two about this new site!

Colonial Heights, VA (October 16, 2009) Women from across the nation unite to remind abused women and children they are not forgotten.

Each year, domestic abuse forces hundreds of thousands of women and children to leave their homes and seek safety and healing in shelters across the United States. While shelters can fill basic needs and provide counseling services, often the most difficult challenges faced by those who use them are recognizing their own worth and feeling accepted by society.

This year, the Pink Slipper Project is making a difference in the lives of these women and children by warming their hearts and their toes with handcrafted slippers – practical reminders that someone cared enough to make something special just for them. A joint venture of Make Mine Pink, an online shopping and networking site for women, and Quilt n’ Stitch Marketplace, the premier quilting and needlework community on the Web, the Pink Slipper Project is working closely with Enchanted Makeovers, an internationally recognized non-profit organization that transforms shelters for women and children into places of peace and possibilities. Together, their goal is to provide warm and beautifully designed slippers to the residents of each makeover project this winter, along with as many other women and children’s shelters as possible.

Joyce Lucas, founder of Make Mine Pink and Quilt ‘n Stitch Marketplace was inspired to start the Pink Slipper Project while working with Terry Grahl of Enchanted Makeovers. Lucas states, “It was through Terry’s vision to help improve living spaces and children’s lives in shelters that I began to get a much clearer picture of what we could do to make a difference while at the same time filling a very basic need.”

Within hours of making the first slipper pattern available on the Pink Slipper blog in August, women from all over the US had downloaded it and wanted to take part. Some stitched slippers, some knit or crocheted slippers and others donated fabrics and supplies. The one common thread was they all wanted to help make someone’s life a little better.
The project is just slippers away from meeting its first challenge of supplying slippers for a large women’s shelter that houses 80 women and 40 children. Many other challenges have come into the program since its inception, including one for a girls’ shelter in Detroit that houses approximately 138 teenage girls.

Only a few weeks old, the Pink Slipper Project has already gained international attention. Lucas was recently contacted by Renee Glass whose Australian organization, Slippers with Soul, provides slippers to women who are ill or in assisted living facilities. In 15 months, Glass’s program has provided 8,000 pair of slippers, with a goal of a million.
Lucas hopes to see the same success here. She states, “As long as we’re able and as long as we have loving and giving participants, we’ll continue to grow this wonderful program. A project that unites women all over the nation for the good of others has to be a success. There’s no other possible outcome.”

If you are involved with a women’s shelter that would benefit from the Pink Slipper Project, please contact them at info@thepinkslipperproject.org with your shelter’s needs.

If you would like to help warm the hearts and toes of women and children this winter by providing slippers or donating suplies to make slippers, please visit www.pinkslipperproject.org for details on how you can help or contact Joyce Lucas at info@thepinkslipperproject.org

Seattle, WA – October 5, 2009 Do you own or run a home based business? Would you like a mentor? Your own personal coach? Then keep reading!

Did You Know that Most Businesses Fail Within the First Five Years?

The Work at Home Girls share their Simple Secrets to make your business a SUCCESS! For your business to succeed you need to find a specific need and fill it. Successful business owners are very focused and many (if not all) have a mentor they can turn to with questions and challenges.

If you work from home-or want to-the Work at Home Girls can be your mentors. Together, Jill Hart and Mary Byers have over 20 years combined experience running a business from home. One is a techie (Jill, founder of Christian Work at Home Moms and author of So You Want to be a Work-at-Home Mom) and the other is a wordsmith (Mary, freelance editor and author of five books, including Making Work at Home Work). They’ve teamed up to share what they wish mentors had shared with them when they started their businesses over a decade ago.
Why do you need a mentor?

Why do you need a mentor?
1. Mentors shorten the learning curve.
2. Mentors stimulate new thoughts and ideas.
3. Mentors have learned from the school of hard-knocks and are willing to pass along what they know, saving you from making frustrating-and possibly expensive-mistakes.
4. Because they have walked in your shoes, mentors understand like no one else does.
5. Mentors push you to achieve more than you thought possible.
6. When you need someone to bounce ideas off of, mentors rock!
7. Mentors can help you make more money.
8. Working from home can sometimes be lonely. Mentors make it less so.
9. Mentors encourage you to pay attention to what’s important.
10. Mentors believe in helping others succeed.

If you’re thinking about starting a home-based business-or you’re currently running one but feeling frazzled, overwhelmed, overworked, and underpaid-you’ll benefit from spending time with Jill and Mary. And you can do it at your convenience, depending on your schedule.

About the WAHG Teleseminars!

Yes, there is lots of good free information available on the internet today. However, if you are serious about the success of your business you’ll be making a great investment. We’re going give you specifics, examples and personal business experience that you won’t find anywhere else!

Work at home moms (WAHMs) often find that as outside temperatures heat up, their revenues cool down. It’s been called summer slowdown or summer slump, but knowing the phenomenon is so common it even has a name doesn’t make it any easier to watch your profits virtually vanish for two months of the year.

Denise Willms, a work-at-home-mom who publishes articles and tips written by moms for moms at her website WAHM-Articles.com, offers seven tips for work at home moms who want to keep their summer sales sizzling, even in the current economy.

1. Write and distribute articles on a regular basis. Any business owner can write articles that build their credibility and maintain visibility, then have those articles published where their target markets will find them.

2. Give your website a good once-over. Are you losing sales because your website visitors can’t figure out what to do next, or how to contact you? A website review can be as easy as asking your grandmother or a non-Internet savvy friend to do a specific task on your website then watching which obstacles they run into.

3. Create and sell your own information product. Cost-conscious shoppers are looking for ways to save money by doing things themselves. You can benefit by packaging your own expertise into a product that helps them, and then selling it.

4. Review your paid advertising. Advertising online and off is an important component of branding your business and staying visible to your audience. However, even in an age of cost-cutting, cheap advertising is not always better. Make sure your paid ad space is where your potential customers will find it.

5. Add another revenue stream to your business. Having multiple streams of income, whether you’re selling your own product or someone else’s as a direct sales consultant, will help ensure your revenue never dries up.

6. Add Virtual Assistant services to your current business. Many businesses are laying off employees and turning to Virtual Assistants, administrative professionals who provide a myriad of support services from their own home offices on a contractual basis, for help with their business needs.

7. Consider hiring a business coach for one or two coaching sessions this summer. The right business coach can help keep your business on track through the summer months by holding you accountable for your results and offering a different perspective on what you’re currently doing.

To help stop summer slowdown now for your work-at-home-mom business, visit http://www.WAHM-Articles.com and click on the link to enter the Saving Summer Giveaway.

On Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. EST, Tom Ziglar will present ” Success 2.0″
Topic Description: The Ziglar Philosophy, social media networking, and losing 80 pounds!

As CEO of Ziglar, Inc., Tom Ziglar not only shares a last name with his father, Zig Ziglar, but he also carries on his philosophy, which is simply, “You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.”

Prior to being named CEO, Tom initially began his career in retail and direct sales. He joined the Zig Ziglar Corporation in 1987, learning every aspect of the business as he climbed from working in the warehouse, to sales, to seminar promotion, to sales management and then on to leadership.

With the last name Ziglar, Tom has had a lot to live up to. But rather than try to fill his father’s shoes, Tom has created a whole new pair of his own! He is boldly taking Ziglar, Inc., into the world of social communities, Twitter, blogs, and webinars to present the tried and true message of hope, integrity and positive thinking to a whole new audience.

While the content has remained consistent, the method is ever-changing; as Ziglar’s leader, Tom is positioned to do just that – lead.

Please join us at VAnetworking.com on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. (EST) to revive the Ziglar Philosophy and Success 2.0.

Virtual Assistants who have self-published books are invited to complete an internet marketing survey and enter to win a book marketing package from Virtual Assistant company Cassidar Ink.

Self-published authors who pour their hearts and wallets into publishing their books frequently turn to the internet and its promise of prosperity for marketing help. Some of these authors waste thousands of dollars and hours on internet marketing programs with no results, while others experience wild success. Article marketing expert Denise Willms of Cassidar Ink, a Virtual Assistant business that specializes in writing and publicity services, recently launched an author marketing survey to determine which types of free internet marketing authors are using, what their results have been, and where their strategies could be falling short.

“Many new self-published authors believe selling their books on the internet is an easy path to riches but they struggle to sell even a few copies online,” says Willms, “This survey was created to find out which internet marketing strategies are being used by self-published authors and what unique challenges authors encounter when they promote their books on the internet. By collecting this information, I’m hoping to educate self-published book authors on how to better utilize the internet to sell more of their books.”

The survey focuses specifically on free internet marketing techniques such as writing and distributing articles and press releases, which are popular with self-published authors because they’re easily accessible. It will also reveal what results authors typically gain from their internet marketing endeavors and common challenges faced by authors who market their books on the internet.

Authors who participate in the survey are eligible to win an author marketing package from Cassidar Ink worth nearly $600.

Denise Willms is a Virtual Assistant and article marketing expert who for the past five years has helped business owners and self-published authors gain publicity and build a following for their books and services by utilizing a combination of traditional media and internet marketing.

Self-published authors are invited to take the author marketing survey at http://CassidarInk.com before July 15, 2009 to be eligible to for the draw for the author marketing package. Visit http://CassidarInk.com for a free step-by-step guide to writing and distributing articles that sell products and services.
